The Winter Welly Walks have now finished for this year, to allow our farmers to access the fields to prepare the crops for summer. Thank you to all who came to the farm during January and February - we'll look to put them on again in early 2023!
---
Take a peaceful walk around the fields, enjoy the fresh air and maybe spot some local wildlife! Come down any time from 9am (last entry 4pm) - there's no need to book.

There's no charge for the walks. All we ask is that you grab something to drink from the take-away window to enjoy while you walk, or join us in the cafe for a bite to eat at the end, or pick up some goodies from the farm shop on your way home :-)
The walking routes start from the cafe patio - please look out for the blackboard displaying a map. If you're not sure, please ask at the take-away window.

As the name suggests, wellies are essential at this time of year - there are plenty of muddy puddles to splash in! However, there is also gravel track route that's accessible for prams and wheelchairs.
The walks take between 15-30 minutes and are mostly flat. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

If you would like to walk from your local area to the farm itself, we strongly advise against walking along the main road - Winwick Lane. Instead, check out the walking routes at the bottom of the Find Us page which use public footpaths, minor roads and our own private fields, which make for a safer and more enjoyable walk to the farm.
