​Chef (Full-Time)

Join the café team at Kenyon Hall Farm as a Chef in our open-plan kitchen. You’ll cook fresh, seasonal breakfasts and lunches to order, and help create jams, chutneys and savoury items for our farm shop. We use home-grown and locally sourced ingredients to show-case the very best of the northwest.

We’re looking for a passionate chef with at least 2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, who thrives under pressure and enjoys collaborating on new recipe ideas. You’ll be part of a supportive team in a busy, 60-seat café, upholding high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer interaction.

Key Details:
  • Full-time, 5 days/week (some weekend days essential), 8-hour shifts.
  • No evening work.
  • Competitive pay, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality dishes and products for the café and farm shop.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
  • Manage stock and support recipe development.
  • Ensure efficient, collaborative workflow.
  • Interact positively with customers when needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Passion for local, seasonal food.
