Sensory Herbs

In March our Junior Farmers will be enjoying a spring time experience with Sensory Herbs!

The 45 minute session, suitable for ages 3 to 11, will combine hands-on fun with a little learning:
  • Touch, taste and smell some of our 150+ herb varieties.
  • Learn about how they grow, what they're used for and why they're great.
  • Plant your own herb pot to take away, care for, and eat at home!
Our learning will focus on encouraging children to experiment with new tastes and smells and to understand how to nurture plants to help them grow.
Spaces are limited, tickets cost £5.50 per child (or £4.50 on the Friday) and must be booked in advance. It's free for accompanying adults and babes in arms (18 months and under). To book, please click on your choice of date below: We offer sessions for two different age groups (3 to 5, and 5 to 11). These are only guidelines and we don't enforce them, so if you have children of mixed ages please book them all onto the same session.
