FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
Does the Pumpkin Picking ticket include a pumpkin?
No. Your ticket includes entry to the pumpkin patch and photo opportunities. Any pumpkins you choose are priced according to size, ranging from £2 for the smallest to £10+ for the largest.

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in our grass car park, café conservatory, outdoor seating area and plant centre. Unfortunately, they are not permitted in the pumpkin patch itself.

What should I wear?
We open in all weathers, so please dress accordingly. We recommend wellies even on dry days — there are plenty of muddy puddles to splash in!

Do you take cards?
Yes, we take card payments (including Apple Pay) as well as cash.

Is it accessible to prams & wheelchairs?

Our farm shop, café and indoor pumpkin displays are wheelchair and pram accessible, and we have disabled parking and a toilet. Outdoor patches may be accessible with sturdy prams/wheelchairs in dry weather, but this depends on conditions underfoot.

How long can I stay?
There’s no time limit on how long you spend in the patch or at the farm. The pumpkin patch closes at 4:45pm, the café at 4:30pm, and the site at 5pm daily.

Do I need a ticket to buy a ready-picked pumpkin?
No. Ready-picked pumpkins are available in our indoor display and farm shop without a ticket. Tickets are only required if you wish to enter the patch and pick your own.

I'm a carer, do I need a ticket?
Carers visiting in a professional capacity do not need to book a ticket for themselves — only for the person they care for. After booking, please reply to your confirmation email to let us know, and bring ID on the day.

What else is there to do at the farm?
We have a farm shop, café and plant centre open every day. For children, we have an outdoor play area with swings, slides and assorted farm-themed equipment to climb on. There is no need to book or pay an entry fee for any of these parts of the farm.

When is the best time to come?
Early in the season, the patch looks its best and is less muddy — perfect for photos. Later in the season, pumpkins are more likely to last until Halloween, but the patch will be muddier. It depends on your priorities.

How long will my pumpkin last?
Most un-carved pumpkins should last 3-4 weeks, and some can last several months. But as with any living vegetable, sooner or later they will go off and we can't guarantee they'll keep specifically until Halloween. We cannot offer refunds on pumpkins that do not keep for a certain length of time.

How many pumpkins are there?
We grow over 20,000 pumpkins and squashes. During October, our ‘pumpkin fairies’ top up the public patches to ensure there’s always a great selection.
