We planted our first pumpkin over 30 years ago and are now one of the biggest pumpkin picking destinations in the north of England!
Our pumpkin season is on now and runs to Sat 31st Oct. To keep everyone safe we are strictly limiting numbers to provide plenty of space for social distancing, ensuring households remain separate from one another. All visitors to our pumpkin areas - inside and outside - must book an entry slot in advance.
Bookings cost £1 or £2 per person depending on the date, and are the same price for adults or children. Infants under 18 months go free. Ticket holders can look forward to:

- Access to our outdoor patch, with over 15,000 pumpkins grown this year.
- Visiting our huge indoor display of ready-picked pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours.
- Creating memories with our unique, pumpkin-tastic photo backdrops and use of a wheelbarrow to carry pumpkins.
Early in September, before the pumpkin season started, we opened bookings for a fixed number of entry slots for every 15 minutes, every day throughout October. All of those slots have now sold out.
We hope to open more slots to book during the course of the season, if and when we're sure it's safe to do so. We may also have some occasional last-minute availability. Please click the button below to see if there is any availability, and/or to sign up for email alerts if extra slots are released.

The farm shop, outdoor cafe, children's play area and toilets are all open and car parking is free. Unfortunately there won't be other fruit or veg to pick and the maze will be closed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I pay by card?
Yes - we accept debit and credit cards as well as cash.
Can I bring dogs?
Unfortunately due to hygiene regulations we can't allow dogs in the pumpkin areas, play area or farm shop.
Is it accessible for prams/wheelchairs?
The farm shop, cafe and indoor pumpkin display areas are accessible for prams and wheelchairs, and we have disabled parking spaces and a disabled toilet with baby change facilities. Visitors with very sturdy prams/wheelchairs have accessed the outdoor fields in previous years and we're happy for you to do so, but unfortunately we can't promise it will be possible - it depends on the conditions underfoot.
How long does it take?
A visit to the pumpkin areas will take around 30-60 minutes. If you choose to carve your pumpkin here, this will take another 30 minutes or so. With a visit to the kids play area and/or cafe, we'd suggest allowing 1-2 hours for a visit to the farm.
When is the best time to come?
By controlling the number of visitors at the farm every 15 minutes, there should not be any days when we are especially busy or especially quiet this season. Our only tip would be that the earlier you come in the season, the less muddy the outdoor areas will be and the prettier the pumpkin patches look.
How many pumpkins are there?
We grow over 15,000 pumpkins in different patches across the farm. During October, the patches open to the public can start to run low. When this happens, we (the 'pumpkin fairies') top-up the public patches from our other supplies to ensure there is always a good choice of pumpkins in the fields for you to choose from.
