FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I pay by card?
Yes - we accept cards and apple pay as well as cash.
Do I need to book for anything else?
No, our farm shop and take-away café are open every day with no bookings required. The farm shop is stocked with a selection of ready-picked pumpkins, available for those without picking tickets.
Can I bring dogs?
Unfortunately due to hygiene regulations we can't allow dogs in the pumpkin areas, play area or farm shop.
Is it accessible for prams/wheelchairs?
The farm shop, cafe and indoor pumpkin display areas are accessible for prams and wheelchairs, and we have disabled parking spaces and a disabled toilet with baby change facilities. Visitors with very sturdy prams/wheelchairs have accessed the outdoor patches in previous years but we can't promise it will be possible - it depends on the conditions underfoot.
When is the best time to come?
The earlier you come in the season, the less muddy the outdoor areas will be and the prettier the pumpkin patches look. However, the later you come the more chance your pumpkin has of lasting until Halloween.
How long will my pumpkin last?
Most un-carved pumpkins should last 3-4 weeks (and some can last several months). But as with any living vegetable, sooner or later they will go off and we can't guarantee they'll keep until Halloween. Click here to read more.
Can I carve my pumpkin at the farm?
Our carving den is open from Sat 23rd October onwards, allowing you to carve your pumpkin on site and leave the mess with us from just £1 per pumpkin.
How many pumpkins are there?
We grow over 15,000 pumpkins in different patches across the farm. During October, the patches open to the public can start to run low. When this happens, we (the 'pumpkin fairies') top-up the public patches from our other supplies to ensure there is always a good choice of pumpkins in the fields for you to choose from.
