As we are now nearing the end of the Summer, we are starting to get ready for our Pumpkin Festival, however, our Plant Centre still has a limited selection of edible and flowering plants. We currently have the following available:
EDIBLES
NON-EDIBLES
We have a variety of growing media for sale, including topsoil, tomato grow bags, manure and potting compost. We also stock a selection of organic liquid fertilisers to help keep your plants healthy and strong.
As we are now nearing the end of the Summer, we are starting to get ready for our Pumpkin Festival, however, our Plant Centre still has a limited selection of edible and flowering plants. We currently have the following available:
EDIBLES
- Veg: We now have our autumn stock available including swiss chard, kale, cabbages and pak choi - £2.99 per pack.
- Peppers: We have a few remaining chilli pepper plants left.
- Fruit Plants & Bushes: We have a full selection, including strawberries, blueberries, gooseberries and rhubarb. We also have a great range of more unusual varieties, including honeyberries, aronia berries and Saskatoon berries.
- Fruit Trees: All our fruit trees are now on display, with a good selection of apples, pears, cherries, plums, damsons and greengages.
- Herbs: We still have a good selection of herbs available, including basil plants, and our ready-planted herb troughs are now available in various sizes.
NON-EDIBLES
- Autumn / Winter Selection: We have the first selection of our basket and pot plants, that will continue bringing beautiful colour into Autumn & Winter. So far, we have violas, pansies, cyclamen and some shining heathers.
- Ornamental Trees: We have a beautiful selection of ornamental trees, including magnolias, ornamental cherries, amelanchiers, field maples, crab apples and Ginkgo biloba.
- Alpines: We have a small selection of alpines left including delospermum and eidelweiss.
- Perennials: We still have some lovely perennials in bloom. Top sellers include echinacea, rudbeckia and salvias.
- Shrubs: We have a lovely range of evergreen and deciduous shrubs. Looking particularly good now are our hydrangeas, choisya and phormiums.
- Wildflowers: We have a small selection of wildflowers available.
- Hedging: A lovely range of native UK hedging plants is in stock.
- Climbers: We have plenty of passionflowers and climbing fuchsias.
- Shade-Tolerant Plants: In our shade shelter area, we have a lovely range of perennials and shrubs that tolerate some of the darker, trickier areas of the garden, including ferns, astilbes, saxifragas and primulas.
- Succulents: We have a smaller selection of succulents available in our polytunnel.
