Our Plant Centre is really filling up with a selection of edible and flowering plants, perfect for those looking to make an early start on the garden this year. We currently have the following available:

Our Plant Centre is really filling up with a selection of edible and flowering plants, perfect for those looking to make an early start on the garden this year. We currently have the following available:
EDIBLES
- Fruit Bushes (new season): We have a full selection of fruit bushes, including raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, gooseberries, rhubarb, and blackberries. We also have a great selection of more unusual fruit bushes, including honeyberries, kiwi, aronia berries, and saskatoon berries.
- Seed Potatoes: We now have first early, second early and maincrop potatoes, available in 1kg bags, or you can pick a handful from our loose selection.
- Herbs: Our herb department is expanding by the day and we now have a good selection on display, with more still to follow.
- Fruit Trees: All our fruit trees are now out on display with a good selection of apples, pears, cherries, plums, damsons and greengages.
- Veg: We have a big selection of vegetable plants in now, including onions, brassicas, lettuce, broad beans peas and beetroot all £2.99 each.
- Spring Colour: We have a colourful selection of primroses, including our big ‘show-stopper’ primroses. We also have a selection of large ranunculus and anemone. Now in flower is a beautiful, colourful range of Dianthus Sunflor.
- Ornamental Trees: We have a beautiful selection of ornamental trees. Our magnolias and ornamental cherries are starting to flower. Also available are lilac, crab apples and amelanchier.
- Roses: A huge choice of roses, including floribunda, shrub, tea, ground cover, and climbing varieties. New for 2026, we have tall and miniature standard roses ready now.
- Alpines: We have a large selection of alpines in flower, bringing some much-needed colour.
- Perennials: There’s a good selection of established perennials, and our small perennial pots are increasing each week, with an extensive collection for you to choose from now. The erysimum are now starting to flower — we have the traditional ‘Bowles’s Mauve’ as well as some more unique colours.
- Shrubs: A good range of shrubs are now located in our new outdoor area, including hebes, buddleja, photinia, sambucca, spirea and pernttya.
- Bulbs: We have a colourful selection of spring bulbs in the green for just £2.99 a pot, including muscari, daffodils, bluebells, tulips, and narcissi.
- Wildflowers: The first of our wildflowers are now in with many more to follow.
- Shade Tolerant: We have got the first signs of life bursting out of out dicentra, astilbe and hostas in our shade shelter area.
- Succulents: We have a lovely selection of succulents available in our polytunnel.
- Baskets: We have colourful spring-flowering hanging baskets for sale to brighten up your garden — our hanging bees are particularly popular.
- Seeds: We have a great choice of seeds to start growing your own, including our Kew Garden pollinator range, which makes lovely gifts.
