PLANNING YOUR VISIT
Fruit availability
Strawberries are the first crop ready for picking, typically from early June through to the end of August. During this period, the strawberry fields are open approximately 4 – 5 days per week.
Other fruit and veg become available throughout June, July and August. To see what's usually in season and when, please take a look at our approximate availability calendar: click here
When to book tickets
Tickets are required for strawberry picking (not to pick other fruit & veg). Due to the unpredictable nature of growing strawberries, it is only possible to release tickets 1-2 days in advance when we are certain that there are enough ripe strawberries. It is not possible to book several days or weeks ahead of your visit. Please check our availability page regularly for the latest ticket availability.
How to book a strawberry picking ticket
All strawberry picking bookings are made online through the availability page. When tickets are available, a black 'BOOK NOW' button will appear. If the button is absent, no tickets are currently available. Please note that bookings cannot be made via phone, email, social media or in person at the farm.
Large groups
We are unable to accept advanced bookings for large groups (e.g. birthday parties). However, subject to availability, you can book as many tickets as needed when they are released.
Carers
If you are visiting in a professional capacity to assist someone you care for, you do not need to book a ticket for yourself - just for the person you are supporting. After making your booking, please reply to your confirmation email to inform us that an additional person will be accompanying you, and bring your carer ID on the day.
Ticket confirmation
Upon booking you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that we do not issue physical tickets. On the day of your visit, simply provide your name and order number at the entrance - there's no need to print anything.
Dogs
While dogs are welcome in some areas of Kenyon Hall Farm, they are not permitted in the fruit fields for hygiene reasons. For more information: click here
Accessibility
Prams and wheelchairs are welcome in the fruit and vegetable fields. The access tracks are a mixture of grass and gravel, so most sturdy prams and wheelchairs can access the fields in dry conditions. If it is wet underfoot, access will depend on the type of pram or wheelchair.
All our strawberries are grown on 'table-tops' - rows of elevated plants at waist height to an adult. Toddlers may need assistance in reaching some of the strawberries. All our other fruit and vegetables are on plants growing outdoors in the ground. Please contact us on 01925 765531 to discuss any specific accessibility queries.
Weather
Our pick your own fields remain open in all weathers, unless there is a safety risk due to extreme weather such as lightning. If it is raining when you are due to visit, please dress appropriately for the weather (including wellies) and come along as planned.

ON THE DAY
Eating fruit
We kindly remind our customers that eating fruit in the fields is not permitted.
As a family business, we work hard to keep our prices as affordable as possible so that more families can enjoy the fruit-picking experience. However, when fruit is consumed without being paid for, it directly affects our ability to maintain these prices and keep this experience accessible to everyone.
Pick-your-own farms depend on the honesty of their visitors to stay in business, and sadly, some farms have been forced to close due to unpaid eating.
Please respect the hard work that goes into growing this produce so we can continue providing this experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Picking quantities
In addition to the complimentary fruit included with your ticket, you may pick as much or as little as you like. All the produce you pick must be paid for and is charged by weight at checkout. We offer free containers of various sizes. If you bring your own containers, the weight of these will be deducted from your total during the weigh and pay process.
What to wear
We are open in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately:
There is no time limit on your visit. You are welcome to spend as long as you like picking fruit or enjoying other farm activities. Please note that the fruit fields close at 4.45pm and the site closes at 5pm.
What else can we do at the farm?
Our farm shop, café, and plant centre are open every day from 9am to 5pm (the café closes at 4.30pm). There's no need to book - just pop in before or after your picking session. We also have a free outdoor play area featuring swings, slides and vintage farm equipment for children to enjoy.
Payment methods
We accept cash, card and Apple Pay for your convenience.
