- Tomorrow we will be clearing one of our strawberry crops: the remaining fruit is a little smaller and riper than usual so you'll need to be more selective - they are perfect for jam or smoothies!
- We wouldn't recommend visiting just for strawberries, but if you're already coming you're welcome to have a look and see what you can find with no pre-booked tickets required. Come early for the best choice - they're likely to be picked out during the day. Turn up between 09:30am-11:45am or between 1pm-3:45pm.
- If you would prefer to wait, the next crop of our famous, first-class strawberries is ripening in our polytunnels and will be available soon.
- Our sunflowers will be available to pick without pre-booking (£2.95 per adult, £1.50 per child, inc. a single stem each).
- Potatoes, onions, redcurrants, blackberries and raspberries are also available for picking tomorrow. Come early for the best choice of raspberries as we expect them to be picked out early due to their popularity. Turn up between 09:30am-11:45am or between 1pm-3:45pm.
Wednesday 19th August onwards:
- There may be strawberries available to pick on Wednesday, check back here Tuesday at 2pm for confirmation.
- Our sunflowers will be available to pick without pre-booking (£2.95 per adult, £1.50 per child, inc. a single stem each).
- Other fruit and veg will be available to pick without pre-booking, check back here at the end of Monday for confirmation of fruit availability.
Thursday 20th August onwards:
- Check back here 24 hours in advance for updates - it is not possible to predict availability or release tickets further ahead than this.
Yellow Maize
- The very first yellow maize of the season is just ready now, for those who like it soft. The crop will be fully ready in around another week. Note: Yellow Maize is not sweetcorn - it is only suitable for picking for those with experience in processing it for cooking. It costs £15 for a carrier bag full.
- No bookings required to pick any of the fruits and vegetables other than strawberries - simply turn up between 9:30am - 11:45am or 1pm - 4pm.
