Squash Available every day mid September to December 10am to 6pm. During the autumn we sell a selection of different squashes, including 'Gem, Delica, Turks Turban and Crown Prince, all of which are delicious cooked. 'Gem' squash are easy to bake in the microwave with a little butter and seasoning, and take just five minutes. Squashes can also be roasted, curried ,boiled and mashed or made into soup. Pumpkins Most of our pumpkins are sold at Halloween, for carving out although some varieties are also suitable for cooking in similar ways to the squashes. We have various sized pumpkins from tennis ball to medicine ball, but in order to get the one you want it is best to come early and not leave it till the 31st October.
